French education abroad is based on a multilingual and multicultural education. From kindergarten to Grade 12 (terminale), students learn new languages and experience multiple cultures.
The multilingual education at LFT provides students the opportunity to master several languages, understand, express themselves, interact in various learning situations, but also to prepare their higher education goals and be more receptive to the world.
The language program offered at LFT offers students the choice of languages studied, some with certification objectives, but also more specialized forms of learning, such as the international section or the strengthening of French as the language of instruction.

The 6 levels of CEFR
The French curriculum is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), that defines what a person is typically able to understand, say, read and write at each level of their language learning. The levels are tiered between A1 (beginner) and C2 (total proficiency).
